DAVID MATTHEWS RIP
15th July 1946 - 3rd July 2023
We are sad to report the loss of a good friend of ADoRE and of Catholic Charismatic Renewal in general. Here are two messages we received from his children:
"We wanted to pass on the sad news that David passed away on Monday evening. His death was unexpected, but he died peacefully, there was no pain and he was surrounded by family.
"My sisters and I are so grateful for all the kind messages of condolences we have received and the many stories about dad that you have shared with us already.
"Thank you and warm regards,

David was a popular speaker for many years at ADoRE gatherings in Alton, where he inspired us with his insights and entertained us with his witty comments. I’m sure it’s no coincidence that I suddenly thought of David on Saturday 1st in the middle of the lively "Overflow" Catholic Charismatic conference, which he would have loved. Although we all miss him, he will be rejoicing in heaven, reunited with his beloved wife Mary and chuckling with the angels!
