OVERVIEW

In 2024 we will be continuing online through zoom meetings, which will permit you to join in wherever you are in the UK or abroad. There will also be two live meetings, in April and September, which will be partly livestreamed. Details will soon be on the red button below.

Scroll down to read more about the theme, and see the monthly programme. And scroll down to the bottom of the page for video recordings of the talks after each month's session takes place.

You will also be able to view videos of each month's Masses and Praise & Worship.

DEVELOPING OUR MINISTRY IN 2024

Over the last three years, the Lord has opened up an amazing opportunity for ADoRE to develop our ministry online. We now invite 1300+ people from all over the UK and beyond to our meetings, and monthly attendance is 100-175. Feedback shows that our format is meeting a need for refreshing the spiritual lives of those already involved in renewal, as well as giving them an opportunity to introduce newcomers to living in the power of the Holy Spirit.

We believe the Lord wants us to step out in faith and do even more, in order to help bring the Good News of His Kingdom to those who need to hear about it.

Our ongoing vision is to continue extending our ministry in 2024 by encouraging local parishes and communities to participate in our sessions, so that the FIRE of the Holy Spirit can spread far and wide.

Our Talks

Each month we will develop our understanding and appreciation of how each of us is to respond to Jesus' call to a deeper relationship with Him; to appreciate how He has given us His own Holy Spirit to make us holy temples where He can dwell; to walk in holiness and to exercise the gifts of the Holy Spirit to build God’s Kingdom.

Our Speakers

We have an outstanding selection of guest speakers: leaders in Catholic Charismatic Renewal with extensive experience in both practising and teaching on evangelisation. Guided by the Holy Spirit, they will give inspiring and practical encouragement and advice on sharing the Good News in your community.

"I was amazed how inspirational this retreat was. Every section was concise and so powerful. The testimony was profound. Praise and worship so full of the Holy Spirit. Talk was truly divine."

Our Vision

We seek to put Jesus at the centre of all we do: He is the source of new life and we are channels of His renewing, refreshing, healing water in a world thirsty for God’s presence.

We invite everyone to meet Jesus and enter into deeper communion with Him, to experience the love and joy of our heavenly Father. We encourage everyone to receive a new infilling of the Holy Spirit, to ignite their faith, to inspire and empower them to be Missionary Disciples and share the Good News of God’s love with those around them. Together we will spread the fire of the Holy Spirit far and wide!

Our Meetings

We provide spiritual refreshment through a programme of Mass, Adoration, Praise & Worship, Prayer, Prophetic sharing,  Inspired Teaching and Healing ministry.

“CHOSEN TO BE HOLY” -  Transformation by the Holy Spirit.

Summary

God has always desired His people to be holy - “Be holy; for I, the Lord your God, am holy” (Leviticus 20:7). And St. Paul told the community in Ephesus that God “chose us in [Christ] . . . to be holy” (Ephesians 1:4). We tend to think that, because we are sinners, we cannot be holy. Yet this is not the whole story, because Jesus shed his blood in order to make us holy (Hebrews 13:12).

The truth is that every baptised person is called to holiness, chosen by the Lord to be fruitful (John 15:16). This is not something we can achieve by our own efforts: the Father gives the Holy Spirit to transform us into the image of Christ, so that our lives can bear fruit in witnessing to the good news of God’s love.

Being holy doesn’t mean being sinless, joyless or judgemental; it means co-operating with the Holy Spirit as He helps us to love and obey God’s will and to love our neighbour.
